He earned his Bachelor’s degree in chemistry & biology from Kearney State College in Kearney, NE. Dr. Pitsch received his Medical degree from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in Omaha, NE.

After serving as a surgical intern at Hennepin County Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, Dr. Pitsch completed his residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, UT. While at the University of Utah, he served as chief resident in general surgery. Dr. Pitsch concluded his education with a fellowship in vascular surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
